Come to Hobby Fair to our stand on city center campus of Tampere University on Wednesday 25.9. from 10am to 3pm, we take a film portrait of you, or you can take one of your friend!
In the same evening at 6 pm at our darkroom in Kaleva we are having an event for newcomers, where development of black and white film is demonstrated by developing the pictures taken in the stall.
A new member or even if you are just considering Camera Club Vastavalo’s membership, come to have a sneak peek of our club! Old member? Come to meet other members and look at photos that we have taken. You are all very welcome to our Newbies’ Night and Photography Guild in our darkroom at Vanha Domus (TOAS) on Tuesday 5th February from 18 o’clock onwards! 🙂 The address is Väinämöisenkatu 11. We will serve some snacks.

Photography guild or Valokilta in Finnish is an event where we look at each others’ photos and try to figure out together what they bring to mind and what components are making them interesting. Event is not a competition and we hope that everyone from beginners to more advanced photographers won’t hesitate to bring their photos for everyone to see and especially have a nice evening with other photography enthusiasts.
Bring couple of photos that you have taken, either in digital (preferably in USB memory as the connection may be weak at the darkroom) or printed format. There is no other limitation than your imagination in what photos can be presented. However, bringing photos is not prerequisite for attending to the event.
What: Chance to see members of our club – new, old as well as board members. Sharing pictures. Eating evening snacks.
