Kameraseura Vastavalon Kuunvalokuvausyö (QVKY) on leikkimielinen kilpailu aivan jokaiselle. Tässä joukkuelajissa ei mitata niinkään valokuvien teknistä laatua, vaan näytä siis parhaat ideasi! Pääasiana on pitää hauskaa valokuvaten!
Tämänvuotinen Kuunvalokuvausyö kisataan perjantaina 30.10. Kokoontumispaikkanamme toimii TOAS Markuksentorin kerhohuone (Tammelan puistokatu 14–16). Kisa alkaa tasan klo 18, joten ole ryhmäsi kanssa paikalla ajoissa, jotta ensimmäinen tehtävänanto ei jää kuulematta.
Kilpailujoukkueet voivat koostua 2–5 henkilöstä. Voit ilmoittautua mukaan myös yksin, sillä useammasta yksin ilmoittautuneesta voimme kisan alussa yhdistää uusia joukkueita. Mukaan otetaan 20 ensimmäiseksi ilmoittautunutta joukkuetta. Toimi siis nopeasti!
Yön aikana annetaan kaksi kuvaustehtävää kahden tunnin välein. Tehtäviä on kaiken kaikkiaan kuusi, jotka joukkueet toteuttavat kuten parhaaksi näkevät. Valokuvat tulee ottaa yhdellä filmi-/digikameralla, joka tulee olla joukkueella omasta takaa. Vastavalo tarjoaa kuitenkin materiaalit filmikuvien vedostukseen ja maksaa digikuvien printit.
Kilpailuun osallistuvien tarvitsee osata vain käyttää kameraa, jonka mukanaan tuovat. Etenkin filmikuvaajille tiedoksi: aiempaa kokemusta vedostuksessa ei tarvita, sillä joukkueille tarjotaan tarpeen mukaan ohjausta. Vastavalo kehittää filmit puolestasi, mutta vedokset joukkueet tekevät itse esimerkiksi kameraseuran omalla pimiöllä Kalevassa.
Kuunvalotuomaristo arvioi kuvat, ja valokuvista kootaan näyttely Tampereen yliopistolle. Tämän lisäksi marraskuussa järjestetään myös erillinen Kuunvalokilta, jossa parhaat joukkueet ja kuvat myös palkitaan! Sinne kaikki halukkaat voivat tulla katsomaan kaikki kilpailun kuvat, juttelemaan kisasta ja viettämään iltaa yhdessä.
Tämä koko lysti on jäsenille ilmaista, ja muillekin vain 5 euroa / osallistuja. Osallistumismaksu maksetaan paikan päällä, joten varaa mukaasi tasaraha. Se sisältää tehtävien materiaalit, lämpimän keittoaterian, kahvia ja teetä sekä kuvien vedostuksen kisan jälkeen. Haluamme kuitenkin muistuttaa, että maksamalla jäsenmaksumme, joka on niin ikään 5 euroa, pääset osaksi tätä hupia aivan ilmaiseksi. Sen voit tehdä vaikka paikan päällä!

Camera Club Vastavalo’s Moonlight Photography Night (Kuunvalokuvausyö, QVKY) is a playful photography competition for anyone and everyone. In this team competition, the technical quality of the photographs is not the most important, so show your brightest ideas! The main idea, of course, is to have fun!
This year’s event will be held on Friday 30st of October at TOAS Markuksentori club room (Tammelan puistokatu 14–16). The competition starts at 6PM sharp, so be there in time with your team that you won’t miss out the first assignment given.
The team can consist of 2 to 5 person. If you don’t find anybody to participate with, you can still sign up. If there are others who are also alone, we can unite you to a single team at the beginning of the competition. The first 20 teams to sign up can enter the competition. So, be fast to get your place in this glorious event!
During the six hours of competition, starting at 6PM, the teams are given two tasks every two hours. There are six tasks altogether. The teams complete the tasks in their own creative way. Your team should have a digital or film camera (only one camera / team) by your own. The chemicals/papers for developing the pictures from film or prints of digital pictures are provided by Vastavalo.
The team only needs to know how to use their camera of choice. For the film photographers: Vastavalo takes care of film development but your team should make the prints in Vastavalo’s darkroom at Kaleva. If you do not have any darkroom experience you can also get assistance.
The Moonlight Jury will choose the most interesting pictures and there will be exhibition organized of the competition photographs at the University of Tampere. There will be also a small get-together, Moonlight Photography Guild, in November, where the best teams and photos will be awarded. There you can also see all the photos of the competition. We will discuss the photos, the whole experience and have a nice evening together.
For the members all this fun is free, and for others only 5 euros / person. The participant fee will be paid on the spot, so please prepare the exact sum. It includes materials for the tasks, a delicious soup dinner, coffee and tea as well as the digital/analog printing costs after the competition. However, we would like to remind that by paying our membership fee which is also only 5 euros, you can join the event totally free of charge. You can do it even on the spot!
